Dive into a weekend of fun, fitness, and fresh water at the Lake Karāpiro Swim Fest—a two-day open water festival with events for all ages and abilities.
Whether you're a seasoned endurance swimmer or just starting out, there are nine different race distances to choose from. Events range from 100m and 200m swims for 6–12-year-olds, which are free to enter, up to 10km and 25km endurance challenges. There are also plenty of mid-distance options in between.
Set on the tranquil and picturesque Lake Karāpiro, one of the Waikato’s most scenic and well-loved freshwater venues, the festival offers a vibrant atmosphere with music, food, spectator-friendly viewing, and onsite camping.
