This year's Waipā Household Hazardous Waste Collection is on Sunday, November 9, from 8.30am to 2.30pm in Te Awamutu.
Registrations are essential, so book your allocated time spot by Sunday, November 2. The exact location will be advised when your timeslot is confirmed.
Household nasties that will be accepted include:
- Garden chemicals (insecticides, herbicides and fungicides)
- General household waste (cleaners, poisons, solvents, batteries and paint)
- Pool chemicals (chlorine and algaecides)
- Automotive waste (antifreeze, brake fluid, fuel, motor oil and batteries)
- Register either online bit.ly/myhazwaste or call 0508 CHEMICAL (0508 243 642).
