FREE School Holidays Fun at the Museum!

Looking for an exciting and meaningful activity for your tamariki these July school holidays?
At Te Whare Taonga o Te Awamutu Museum, tamariki aged 5–12 are invited to become kaitiaki (guardians) through our brand new Kaitiaki Passport experience.

Guided by Ruru, children will explore how museums care for taonga through fun, hands-on activities and an interactive workbook.

We are holding 6 sessions during the school holidays. Spaces are limited to 12 children, aged between 5 and 12 years old, per session. Children must be accompanied by an adult (one adult may accompany up to 3 children).
Date for each 1 hr programme:
Monday 6 July or Tuesday 7 July or Wednesday 8 July from 9am – 10am
Monday 13 July or Tuesday 14 July or Wednesday 15 July from 9am – 10am
