Join Sarah from Sip & Sew for a fun afternoon of sewing and great company! This workshop is perfect for beginner sewists to transform pre-loved shirts into baby and toddler pants. Learn how to repurpose clothing from the op shops and save you money! On the day we’ll go through basic machine skills and guide you through the steps to repurpose your shirts into new shorts for little ones.
Hosted at Fahrenheit Restaurant & Bar, Te Awamutu. Tickets cost $10, suitable for adults aged 18+.
What to bring:
- 1 or 2 recycled men's shirts
- If making shorts for your own child, then a waist measurement is always handy, but not necessary
